Delay (2002)

On the wall is a circuit board, that I designed and built, which is connected to a small box hung from the ceiling. In the box is a speaker and a microphone. A motion sensor triggers the circuit to record any ambient sounds for 30 seconds. After a short delay, the recording is played back and the piece resets itself for the next recording.
