This project consisted of four pictures set up in a gallery. Each picture had a small speaker above it and dim lights inside the picture frames. Mounted under the frame were small proximity detectors that, when triggered, would turn off the pictures lights and play a short audio composition from above. As you can see in the images below, the pictures were not directly illuminated and because of this people were lured into looking at the pictures close enough to trigger the audio.
